Definition of Exempt Foods
Nutrition information is listed per serving, unless otherwise noted. Guidelines apply to products approved for advertising to children under 12, unless otherwise noted.
Unilever
These criteria apply to advertising to children ages 6-11; there are no exempt foods for advertising to children under 6 years. The nutrient criteria are the Fresh Tastes @ School NSW Healthy School Canteen Criteria (listed here under George Weston) and Unilever’s global internal nutrient criteria set out as part of their Nutrition Enhancement Program, which are common to all foods except soups/sauces and ice creams, as follows:
